Dr. Rosalyn Maben-Feaster is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Associate Director of the Women’s Health Division, and the Director of Health Systems Science Medical Education at the University of Michigan.
She is a Michigan native who earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan. Dr. Maben-Feaster then pursued a dual degree in medicine and public health at the University of Michigan Medical School and School of Public Health. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. She then worked as a general obstetrician gynecologist in the Metro- Detroit area prior to returning to the University of Michigan to join the Women's Health Division in 2015.
Dr. Maben-Feaster is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, advocating for her patients and fellow ObGyn providers. She currently serves as the District V Young Physician Representative and has served as the District V Junior Fellow Vice Chair, Chair and Immediate Past Chair and the Michigan Section Junior Fellow Vice Chair and Chair. She is also a board member of the Michigan Council for Maternal Child Health and serves as the Director of ObGyn Resident Quality Improvement Education at the University of Michigan.
Her practice encompasses general obstetrics and gynecology. Her special clinical interests include family planning, abnormal uterine bleeding, lower genital tract dysplasia, health education and health policy.
