Research

Dr. Langen’s research interests include labor abnormalities in term and preterm birth as well as maternal cardiac disease in pregnancy.

Dr. Langen has several ongoing research studies involving PPROM, labor abnormalities, and is the Director of the Obstetrics Biorepository at Michigan Medicine. As the Director of Research for the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division, she facilitates projects for the fellows and residents.

Biography

Dr. Langen is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan.

She completed her undergraduate degree, medical degree, residency and fellowship education at Stanford University. After graduation in 2012, she joined Michigan Medicine faculty as an Assistant Professor.

Dr. Langen is the Co-Director of the Obstetrics Initiative, the Director of the Michigan Medicine Obstetrics Biorepository, and the Director of Research for the Maternal Fetal Medicine Division.
