Lori Day, MD received her Medical Degree from Michigan State University, College of Human Medicine. She then went on to complete both her residency in OB-GYN and Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Dr. Day returned to Michigan State University in 2010 and joined the Spectrum Health Medical Group, until joining Michigan Medicine’s faculty in 2012 as an Assistant Professor. Dr. Day’s research interests include induction of labor, antenatal testing and fetal interventions. She is actively involved in teaching and resident education and has received several awards for her outstanding teaching skills. Clinically, Dr. Day enjoys maternal diabetes, fetal therapy, and caring for families with fetal anomalies that involve palliative care. She established our MFM outreach services and sees patients in rural Marquette, Michigan. She has recently assumed the role of Mplan Physician Director for VonVoigtlander Women’s Hospital.
